Just as the world is estimated to expire in 2012, there is rumors that Facebook is closing on the 15th on March. This has pissed off a lot of people, and many are heard saying that this would destroy their lives. Others are just worried that they would get 10 more hours of freetime each day?

(That these rumors are true, is very doubtful.)
I believe these are only rumors, this is the most successful internet site out there. Its shut down is nowhere near.
SvarSlettI couldnt find the artile. However, there have been rumors of the world ending since 2000. I am assuming the same type of rumors will continue relating to Facebook. But, think about it, we are comparing the end of the world to the end of Facebook (just a website). That seems rediculous in a sense. Is this really how big Facebook has gotten in it's short life of only about 7 years?
SvarSlettIt's probably not going to shut down, I don't beleive that, but it is really disturbing how much that would effect people's life. Someone is saying that they would have so much free time that they wouldn't know what to do. Other people goes even further, in saying that shutting down facebook would be just like shutting down their life and killing their social life. Is facebook taking us away from actually meeting people face to face?
